If it were really that ambiguous and confusing when someone used the wrong your, it would be really confusing that they’re homophones in spoken conversation. But it’s not.
One thing I’ve learned about engineers from interviewing them at work is that if you ask them what they do on the internet when they’re not working, they think that you want them to talk about programming still. I see you, pretending you never go on Facebook cos you’re too busy with open source programming projects and geek message boards.

I tried to get home tonight and I missed my transfer (in Brooklyn) and had to double back. Then, when I finally made my transfer, I got on a Manhattan-bound train by mistake, and, after an hour of travelling total, I ended up mere blocks from where I started (in Manhattan).
